JW Fishers DDW-1 Deep Dive Wing is a low cost depressor wing designed to tow instrument packages at deeper depths. Operating on the principle of hydrodynamic depression rather than just weight, depressor wings overcome the limitations of conventional downrigger systems. The DDW-1 Deep Dive Wing provides a stable platform for towing instrument packages to greater depths with less cable being deployed.
The design of DDW-1 creates a significant downward force that overcomes drag and pulls the tow cable downward as the wing moves through the water. The "dive angle" is determined by the position of the tow point on the wing which is operator adjustable. Larger instrument packages have more drag and require a greater dive angle. Changing the tow point allows different size instrument packages to be towed to the required depth.
The DDW-1 can be used to tow instruments such as side scan sonar's, towed video systems, marine magnetometers, and towed underwater metal detectors. The DDW-1 can tow magnetometers because it does not have ferrous metals in it's construction and therefore has no magnetic signature. The wing can also tow custom underwater housings containing specialized instruments.

DHL-2 and SL-2 Lighting Solutions

JW Fishers underwater light systems are ideal for any of the numerous underwater structure inspections encountered by today's commercial diver. These surface powered lights supply continuous lighting for extended underwater operations.
The DHL-2 Diver Held Light system was designed for divers that want hands-on control of their lighting. Two light housings are mounted to a solid grip handle letting the diver control the direction of the light beam and the distance to the lighted object.DHL-2 Double Light
The SL-2 is a single underwater light that can be mounted on a divers helmet or attached to any underwater structure. SL-2 lights can also be ganged together for those applications where multiple lights are required.
Both the DHL-2 and SL-2 provide concentrated underwater lighting for jobs in depths up to 1,000 feet. The lights are available with high intensity 100 or 250 watt bulbs. These lighting systems can be powered by a small generator or by battery (with inverter).
CMS 1,2 Cable Management Systems
The Cable management systems are cable reels with slip rings which allow complete operation of the system while deploying or retrieving cable. CMS-1 cable reel holds 500 feet of Side Scan cable and is housed in a Pelican 1620 case. The CMS-2 cable reel holds 4,000 feet of Side Scan cable and is housed in a Pelican 1660 case.
